Accomodation

The accommodation we provide is usually a room or a small cabin on a farm or retreat in Portugal.

As part of the rehabilitation process, you have the opportunity to help with farm tasks at your own pace and according to your own ability. There are no requirements or obligations.

We aim to have between 3–5 residents on the same farm to create a sense of community, which we believe is an essential part of the healing process. At some locations, daily prepared meals are available, while at others, residents are responsible for their own cooking.

There is no medical staff or similar services available. This is an experimental private co-living model where a standard sublet contract is established between the resident and the property owner. CFS CO-LIVING.com does not intend to function as healthcare or therapy and is in no way affiliated with public healthcare or the social insurance system.

As a resident, you pay a monthly rent, with 86% going to the property owner and 14% allocated to the operation and development of CFSCOLIVING.COM. Rent typically ranges between 400€ and 700€ per month, depending on location, standard, and living space. If you are on sick leave and experiencing financial difficulties, we may be able to offer rent subsidies in certain cases please contact us for more details. The accommodation is rented on an ongoing basis with a one-month termination notice from both the tenant and the landlord. Additional costs apply for prepared meals and various rehabilitative treatments.

One of the healing aspects of this living arrangement is the opportunity to spend full-time in a peaceful, nature-rich environment, engage in hands-on work, reconnect with the earth, and embrace a simpler lifestyle.
